I am apologetically sorry I missed this event. My penance, if I am ever invited to another, is to take on cooking or cleaning duties!! What a great and informative read! I am becoming accustomed to searching my emails for the ‘next’ Plate Cleaner!!!
Huh. Perhaps exactly. I didn’t even know there was a British chow chow. I only know the east coast stuff. Do you know if this is also made with green tomatoes?
I think this is just pickles. Same with the chow chow from the southern US. I thought maybe Newfoundland mustard pickles would be the same, but they're made with cucumber and cauliflower. I just checked the Atlantic Mustard Mill's website because if anyone is going to make it, it would be them. But no dice. You should write them and recommend it!

This making me wonder if someone makes a mustard combined with chow chow.
Similar to Crosse & Blackwell's Piccalilli Chow Chow?

Atlantic Mustard already makes a chow chow! I have to write them to thank them for sending their samples. I will mention your idea.
Hi. Here is Sabine from Atlantic Mustard Mill. You just gave us the idea for a new mustard. 😁 👍 thank you ❤️
I love it when a plan comes together.
The Black & Crosswell picalilli is a STAPLE in Caribbean households. Honestly, the only way I can handle pickles is drowned I n mustard.
